Women's Health Care:

Women's Health Care involving the Fascia of the pelvic floor region is important to treat for most women. This gentle treatment focuses on releasing the restrictions in the pelvic floor and the breasts. Malalignment of the low back and sacrum, weakness in the fascia (tissues) of the pelvic floor from vaginal delivery, hormone imbalances in pregnancy and menopause or hypertonicity from trauma surgery, sexual abuse or pelvic fractures can cause spasms and pain.

Whether it is helpful in allowing patients to sleep better at night without needing to use the bathroom, or decreasing pain during sexual intercourse, it is important to be treated by a physical therapist that has been specially trained in this important field.

Why I Do This Treatment:

Many people ask me why I have chosen this type of treatment. My answer is, "WHY NOT?". When you suffer as my patients suffer, then all of us in the health care field need to do more than just sit back and watch them overmedicate themselves.
